Mia Middleton Natural Realignment and Healing Aberdeen

Mia Middleton
Owner

My name is Mia and I am the owner of Natural Re-aligning and Healing Therapies which started up as a part-time business on 1st August 2014 while working at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as a Care Manager. I have worked in a variety of health and care settings for 20 years, initially qualifying as a Social Worker with BA(Hons) in Social Sciences with Diploma in Social Work, COSCA Certificate in Counselling skills and INSYT Foundation Certificate in Systemic Family Therapy. I then developed an interest in complementary therapies, which I found complimented the work I was doing with young people and adults suffering from not only the physical aspects of pain but also the emotional and psychological effects of trauma, abuse and loss.

I am now qualified in a range of therapies when pulled together assist people in releasing blockages in the human system that maintain pain and suffering, including correcting misalignments in the joints and the spine.  Misalignments in the vertebrae can cause a number of conditions in the body that appear unrelated like sciatica, cramps, IBS, circulation, heart issues, anxiety, bladder and intestinal issues to name but a few that can be alleviated by realigning the physical structure of the body.

Like many therapists, my grounding started in the natural therapies of Reiki and Indian Head Massage. Gaining a deep understanding of the incredible effects of energy medicine and the power of the mind with its potential to heal us from all manners of pain and discomfort.

I use a combination of physical therapy and energy medicine, taking a holistic approach to healing.  Everybody’s journey is unique, therefore the approach taken to address issues has to be tailored to meet those individual needs.  Consideration is taken into what prevents a person’s mind and body from releasing not just the pain but the ongoing suffering, held in the deeper cellular memory.  This holistic approach brings people to a place where they find themselves on the journey to being liberated from the pain.

Living a pain-free life is a statement I love to hear after my clients have experienced the incredible transformation that occurs following treatment. One of my clients Keith said he felt like a new man afterwards. I was pleased to hear that people felt at ease in my presence and amazed at the way they felt after a session. I was thought of as a positive businesswoman, full of energy, which translates into the lives of the people who come to see me. They feel better and more positive about themselves and their future.

Mind blown! Had a fantastic reading and medium session with Mia today. Totally shifted and identified some blocks and gave me new direction.

I now feel like a new person after being in pain for over 8 years.
People are also noticing that I am standing and walking much better even my own GP commented!

Had a very cosy, relaxing Reiki session and Mia is so lovely. Feel more chilled than I have in ages. Highly recommend.

Physical Issues Thoracic 12 or TH12 is the last of the vertebra in the thoracic section sitting superior to Lumbar 1.  As we have gathered from information in the previous units, each vertebra has a specific shape designed to protect the spinal cord from injury.  The...

Lumbar 1

Physical Issues   Lumbar 1 is the smallest and most superior of the Lumbar vertebrae before moving into the Thoracic section of the spine. If you placed your hands under the lowest ribs and slid them round to the back to the spine you would be close to Lumbar 1. ...

Lumbar 2

Physical Issues One of the most significant growth developments of the spine in adults is that as it grows and extends, the spinal cord stays the same.  What this means is that the spinal cord does not extend all the way to the end of the vertebral column but stops at...
